Minnetonka Medical Center

Minnetonka Medical Center was developed with considerable input by the local community. The result was a building and site that offers a beautiful array of exterior materials, neatly integrated with extensive landscaping, rain gardens, high quality signage, large expanses of glass, and an inviting lobby displaying sculptural artwork produced by local artists. The lobby includes an inviting sunlit open stair and a fully furnished multi-media conference room for its tenants.

The exterior façade of Minnetonka Medical Center is a stunning combination of stone, brick, metal, and glass, with a dramatic entrance that is gently canted at 20 degrees to invite patients in from Highway 7. The patient-friendly drop off canopy is accentuated with tall, slender support columns that pierce the canopy and extend to a roof cornice element that caps the two-story building’s lobby. In addition, abundant landscaping provides a natural backdrop and compliments the building’s architecture.
